Thermography

Digital Infrared Imaging is utilized to locate areas of elevated metabolic activity and blood flow.  These pockets of temperature variations may be indicative of pre-cancerous or cancerous tissue.

Unlike mammograms, there is no radiation exposure with thermography.  Also, because there is no contact with the body, there is not flattening of the breast between two plates.  Thermography is painless, noninvasive, and far more comfortable for our patients.

As a service to our patients, we offer breast and full body imaging through Spectrum Thermography.  The next available appointment is October 16.  Please call our office to schedule your appointment.
